Join us on April 16th 5:30-7:00 for a thrilling night at HGS where you can view the 3rd and 4th graders as Scientists, Adventurists, Entrepreneurs, Movie Stars and other famous people at the Wax Museum. The Putnam Museum will be here with activities for all ages.

Congrats to the following students on auditioning and being selected to participate in WIU’s Jr Honor Chorus: Mirrah Cardona, Justin Lannholm, Lucas Paschal, Trinity Frymire, and Claire Joyslin.
On Wednesday, four AAHS students traveled to Springfield to participate in Senator Anderson’s Youth Advisory Council. During the visit, students met with legislators and lobbyists, toured both the current and historic Capitol buildings, and participated in a mock committee hearing on a real bill.
This was a fantastic opportunity for students to witness the legislative process firsthand and gain a deeper appreciation for our state Capitol.

Today the District Governor, District Governor Elect Nominate, and Larry Dwyer, an Abingdon Rotary member came and spoke with the AAMS Interact Club about Rotary and their duties. We thank them for coming and encouraging our young leaders.
