This week we learned about the unique characteristics of the animals called amphibians. We compared and contrasted the amphibians vs. other types of animals. After learning about the similarities in the organ structure and function, we dissected a common grass or leopard frog. The students followed a step by step lab experiment. After examining the outside of their frog, the students carefully opened up the frogs to study the internal arrangement of organs. A couple of students were kind of concerned about if they would be able to do the lab. I do have to say that I am very proud of those students, they ALL tried. They were able to complete most of the lab.
