This year we have started an Academic Letter Recognition program at AAHS. Students will earn a letter that contains the Lamp of Knowledge after they have achieved High Honors for four consecutive semesters. Every semester following the receiving of the letter that the student achieves High Honors, they will be given a gold bar to place on their letter as well. Congratulations to all our current students who have received their letters and pins on your dedication to your educational success! (Please note that not all recipients were available to be photographed).

Mr. Walters and Mrs. Anderson were given the opportunity to watch presentations from Mr. Pevitz"s Leadership class recently. Students presented ideas for school improvement like a school-wide talent show, bringing in local community leaders to discuss future careers, and mentoring at HGS. Great Job!!
