The 7th grade Boy's Basketball Sectional game tonight will be played at Rockridge Junior/Senior High School. The address is 14110 134th Ave W., Taylor Ridge, IL 61284. The game will be played in the North gym. Please enter at the front of the building.
Please also remember if your student is riding the fan bus, the times have switched. Pick up at AAHS at 4:30 and AAMS at 4:45!

SECTIONAL FAN BUS
PERMISSION SLIP
On Monday, January 30th our 7th grade Boy’s Basketball team will be playing in the Sectional game at Rockridge Highschool in Taylor Ridge. The district will be providing a fan bus for middle school students that would like to attend.
The bus will pick up students at AAMS at 4:30 p.m. It will then stop at AAHS to pick up students at approximately 4:45 p.m. After the game, the bus will return to AAHS first to drop students off and then will return to AAMS.
No student will be allowed on the bus without a permission slip signed by a parent or guardian. Students must turn in their permission slip to the office by Monday, January 30th. Verbal permission from a parent/guardian will not be accepted.
The cost of the Sectional game is $7.00.
If there is not enough interest in the fan bus to run it, notice will be sent out as early as possible on Monday.
Permission slips are available in the office at AAMS or you can print the attached form and send it back to school with your student. Please contact AAMS at 309-465-3851 if you have questions.
Congratulations to the 7th Grade Atown boys basketball team on the Regional Championship win against Mossville tonight! Come cheer them on at Sectionals on Monday the 30th at Rockridge at 6:30!!!

Pictured are students who did the 50/50 raffles at basketball games. Their efforts netted $500 for the two local food pantries that serve out district's families - Abingdon Food Pantry and Helping Hearts Food Pantry.

Good Morning A-Town,
We wanted to share the final plans for the addition at Hedding Elementary with the community. The addition will include 4 classrooms, a gymnasium, bathrooms, outdoor classroom, and a new Library Space. The gym will also be used as a storm shelter for our community. The gym will have a multi-purpose floor so it can be used for many different activities.
Plans for the upcoming Avon Campus addition will be shared soon!!
Please Note - The 8th grade game will be played first tomorrow when the MS basketball team plays at Lewistown. Tip-off at 10 am.
The MS boys are in action tonight against the Knoxville Blue Bullets at AAHS!
There will be no volleyball practice for the rest of this week. Practice will resume next Tuesday.

AAMS is currently addressing plumbing issues at the AES building. There are sufficient bathrooms to accommodate all students and staff between the remaining bathrooms at AES and those at AAMS. All issues should be resolved by noon. Thank you for your patience.
