Building Kites with Mrs. Lujan! It's creative, fun, and rich with mathematical concepts including measurements, symmetry, perimeter, and parallel & perpendicular lines. Here are a few examples of kites created by our 8th-grade students!

Congratulations to Maci Brooks and Braylon Griffitts! Maci and Braylon were selected by AAMS staff to attend this year's Illinois Principal Association Student Recognition breakfast at Western Illinois University. Maci and Braylon are excellent students and participate in multiple activities throughout the school year.
6th Grade Orientation will be held on May 15 at 6:00 pm in the Avon Campus cafeteria. We hope to see you there.
The AAMS track meet at Rockridge Saturday, April 20, has been canceled.
The Middle School Interact Club and the High School Key Club partnered to raise funds with a Change for Autism campaign. Together their efforts resulted in a $1000 donation to the Central Illinois Autism Association in Peoria. This association serves families in our area. This is our largest donation since we started raising funds for this project.
MS yearbook order forms are due TOMORROW, April 19th. Get them in with the $20 to the main office.
