Mrs. Rogers, our Kindergarten teacher, is the proud mother of an actively deployed member of
our armed services. Her daughter, Jules, is currently serving in Afghanistan. Together, they had the
idea to have our students write letters to soldiers serving with Jules. Several of our classes, including Kindergarten,
First Grade, and Third Grade wrote letters to Jules and her fellow soldiers, expressing our thanks for all they do to keep us safe.
What a great opportunity to support our troops and teach our students about what our military does for us.
