On Thursday May 9, 2019 seven Abingdon-Avon CUSD #276 staff members were recognized at the 2nd Annual Excellence in Education Banquet. The event was hosted by the Regional Office of Education #33, Regional Superintendent, Jodi Scott, and Assistant Regional Superintendent, Lori Loving. The school districts in Region #33 were encouraged to recognize staff members that make a difference in their districts. We have so many amazing staff members, it is difficult to create a short list.
For 2019 the educators pictured above were treated to an evening at Lake Story to celebrate the extra-effort that they put forth everyday with peers from Monmouth-Roseville #238, Galesburg #205, Knoxville #202, ROWVA #208, West Central #235, Mercer County #404, and United CUSD #304. A special "Thank you" to Superintendents Scott and Loving, as well as the amazing staff at ROE #33. An event like this would not take place without the dedicated team at Regional Office of Education #33.
Abingdon-Avon #276 recognized the follwoing staff members:
Mindy Riney, Jamelia Tinkham, Stephanie McKinley-Miller, and our District Guidance and Social Work Team (Cordan Beebe, Denise Phillips, Margie Winski, and Stacy Nagel)
