On Thursday May 9, 2019 seven Abingdon-Avon CUSD #276 staff members were recognized at the 2nd Annual Excellence in Education Banquet:
Mindy Riney, Jamelia Tinkham, Stephanie McKinley-Miller, and our District Guidance and Social Work Team (Cordan Beebe, Denise Phillips, Margie Winski, and Stacy Nagel)
Over the next week, each one of these amazing staff members will be highlighted.
Today, it my honor to highlight Mindy Riney.
According to Michelle Andrews, HGS Principal:
Mindy Riney has worked in the Hedding Grade School kitchen serving breakfast and lunch for the past 5 years. Mindy goes above and beyond to make sure she knows each and every student. She greets students as they go through the line and watches for those that look like they may need more than breakfast to get their day started right. She works with our Outreach Worker to provide breakfast for those students coming in late who have not been fed at home. She also packs extra health packaged foods for students who do not have healthy snacks at home.
Thank you Mindy for all you do for the students of Hedding Grade School!
