As we near the end of the 2018-2019 school year, there is so much to reflect on. The thirteen days of ice, snow, and ridiculous temperatures will be etched in my memory forever. The only thing that might drag out longer than this past winter is the current legislative process in Springfield. It is due to the legislative process that we are not able to push-out a concrete 2019-2020 school calendar. The legislature changed the calendar rules for schools - then changed what they changed with more changes. So, now we wait for final approval. I have provided a link to our tentative calendars for 2019-2020. All Holidays, Holiday breaks, early dismissals, and the start day are set -they will not change. The end date may be changed depending on the language in the final School Calendar Bill. You can access the 2019-2020 Calendar and Summary Calendar here: https://www.atown276.net/o/district/browse/25618
As a reminder, the last day for students this year is Thursday May 30th. This day will be a 2:10 pm dismissal. We hope everyone has an amazing summer!
August 19th will come quick :)
Have a great rest of the week,
Dr. Curry
