This year we asked each new staff member to share a little of their personal history with us. We asked them where they grew-up, went to high school and college, why they became teachers, and a few questions to provide a little insight on them outside of just teaching.
Mr. Kennedy will be teaching High School Social Studies. Below is his backstory:
Mr. Kennedy was born and raised in Mt. Sterling, IL and graduated from Brown County High School. He graduated from Western Illinois University.
He chose to become a teacher because he believes...'teaching children is one of the most difficult, yet rewarding, professions around. To be able to help guide, nurture, and develop a young mind into one that is ready to take on the tasks of adulthood is a great and humbling undertaking."
